Video Edit Converter Pro is a simple video conversion app whose main purpose is to convert your videos into different formats. The application supports MPEG, AVI, WMV, MOV, VOB, FLV, as well as several audio formats, inlcuding MP3, WAV, and WMA. It also includes a set of options to edit and customize your videos.
The program interface looks intuitive and the whole conversion process is quite simple. It only requires you to load a video to the conversion queue, which you can do by browsing your files or by dragging and dropping a media file into the program interface. After that, you can customize your video by adding transition effects, adjusting brightness/contrast, cut or merge clips, and more. For that, you can use the built-in video editor which lets you apply changes and preview the result. You can also play with the different video and audio settings available for each format, adjusting the video quality, resolution, etc.
For this review, I tried to convert a 5-minute AVI videoclip into MOV but surprisingly the app would not work. Each time I attempted to add a video, no matter what format, the converter simply crashed, for no apparent reason. In any case, if you're interested in trying it out, you can download a free trial from the developer's site and see if it works for you.
